Wooden Valley Winery & Vineyards

Wooden Valley Winery & Vineyards has been owned and operated by the Lanza Family since 1955, when Mario Lanza purchased all ownership shares in the business. Today, Wooden Valley Winery is a true family operation, with Mario's son Richard "Chick" Lanza and his wife Adrienne working alongside their four sons: Ron, Rick, Ken, and Larry.

In recent years, the winery and vineyard property has grown to over 350 acres. We grow and produce popular wines, like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay. Also, we grow some varieties that aren’t commonly found, but are delicious to enjoy with a wide range of foods, like White Gamay, Primitivo, and Valdiguie.

We welcome guests to come and enjoy our award-winning wines in our tasting room. You’ll take pleasure in our unusual tasting bar. It was crafted from huge, old redwood casks, which years ago were huge barrels that were used to ferment our harvested grapes.
